Bio

Jacopo Lorenzo Emiliani was born in Trieste. He studies oriental languages in Venice, and immediately afterwards he begins to travel alone, crossing the 5 continents with his inseparable surfboard and his Leica.

He takes pictures, surfs and travels, gathering interesting experiences. In Costa Rica he meets Pier Paolo Ferrari and begins working with him, moving between New York and Italy.

A few years later, he begins shooting for L’Uomo Vogue and starts his photographic career. He works for Prada, Monnaie de Paris, Les Copains, Pinko, Nastro azzurro, Athina, Ninael, Saint-Gobain, Selex, Che Banca!, MedioBanca, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, A/sh Magazine, Focus, Riders, Les Echoes, Intro.

He currently lives between London and Italy.
