Ivan Genasi was born in Switzerland in 1970. He gets his first camera at 18.
Seduced by the beauty of Nature he begins a long process of observation of the natural world creating a unique point of view, a clean, simple, essential, direct, elegant, timeless style.
He has worked as assistant to renown photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Mert & Marcus, Camilla Akrans, Mario Sorrenti, Mikael Jansonn.
He moves to New York and begins working for cosmetic companies, magazines, adv agencies. Among his clients: L’Oreal, Avon US, Sony Bmg, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Garnier, McCann Eriksonn, Publicis, Kiko, Pupa, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, L’Officiel, Cosmopolitan, Amica, Glamour, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Grazia, Zink Magazine. He’s also portrayed celebrities such as Roberto Bolle, Michelle Hunziker, Bebe Vio, Isabella Ferrari, Noemi, Valeria Solarino, Beatrice Vendramin among others. He currently lives in Milan.
